I sold the interior quarter window panel to a guy recently. I bought them off ebay from a seller claiming they were off a slicktop model. They weren't. Ergo, they didn't fit my Z, and I had no need for them. I saw a post in classifieds looking for the DS panel, so I told him I'd sell it for $25 shipped. Most of you that have done business with me know I underprice a lot of my parts. He told me shipping would be to Canada, he looked up the price and recommended I raise mine. I raised it to $33, and shipping cost me just over $23. Not really a bargain on my part, but I'm more tired of hearing about all the parts I have lying around and wanted to start minimizing my collection. Anyway, the part shows up and he says it's broken. I can understand that, as shipping was from AL to Canada, and surely it went through many hands to get there. The seller wants me to refund him $16, claiming a piece was broken before I ever sold it to him, along with the piece that broke during shipping. I told him to make a USPS claim and I would refund him. He says he can't without the second broken piece, which I don't have. I recall the panel being perfect, and I sent him about 10 pics showing this. He sent me one of my pics back claiming he had to enhance it to show the broken piece, which I can't see in the original. My dilemma is this: if I refund him the $16, I actually lose about $6. Is this my responsibility, or what would you recommend I do?
